The Kroc Center is grateful for the generous support of the Rotary Club of San Francisco, whose partnership is helping expand access to literacy and educational opportunities for youth in the Tenderloin community through the Kroc Center Literacy Program and Lending Library. Through their investment, students receive culturally relevant books, participate in engaging reading programs, and build critical skills that support long-term academic success. Rotary’s commitment to service and education is making a meaningful difference—empowering young readers, strengthening families, and helping create a more equitable future for our community.

 

"I am literally at the end of 6 months unemployment. My EBT was reduced to $20/month & I'm on my last payment of unemployment. I got a job that I am starting soon. We were struggling financially lately & I didn't know how we were going to do Back to School shopping. The Salvation Army Kroc Center really came through this year for our family.  Thanks for making a way when there wasn't a way.  Thanks for providing a safe & fun summer camp for my son while I looked for work.
